Mold Damage – Portland Laundry Room

Mold damage at this Portland home started with a hose leak behind the washing machine. The leak went unnoticed as it was out of sight. Over time the wall absorbed the moisture until finally, the water ran onto the floor where it was detected. SERVPRO of Northwest Portland was called in to clean up the water. When we performed our standard assessment, it was determined the problem was greater than just the water on the floor. Mold damage was discovered. The conditions of darkness and moisture had been present for some time, so it was no surprise that mold damage was discovered.
